TORONTO, March 3, 2023 – The deadline to enrol a 2022 foal in the Thoroughbred Improvement Program’s (TIP) Live Foal Program is March 31, 2023.
The Live Foal Program offers a $325 incentive to the breeder of a Registered Ontario Bred foal for the 2022 foaling year.
In order to qualify for the incentive, a foal must be approved as a Registered Ontario Bred by March 31, 2023.
To register your foal as a Registered Ontario Bred, the dam must have been declared as an Ontario Resident Mare for the 2022 foaling year by completing the Ontario Resident Mare Declaration Form and meet all eligibility requirements with Ontario Racing.
The foal must also be registered with The Jockey Club.
